Who — specifically — needs to be involved for our partner’s aim to be realized?

Specificity about prospective participants matters.

  • Targeting decisions are driven by the specificity & clarity of the partner’s aims. Such targeting decisions are often determined through partner design meetings. Arts SoCo often facilitates exploration & decision making. Where this is the case, this is included as a campaign phase & reflected in the scope of work.

  • In some campaigns, a pre-requisite to this question is mapping who makes up the group’s ecosystem, and the relationships between them. Where are relationships strong? Where are they weak? Which relationships - if strengthened - might meaningfully advance the aim?

  • While decisions about targeting are ultimately up to the partner, Arts SoCo has strong interest in ensuring targeting specificity & rigor, because these will impact the efficacy of the entire cohesion campaign.
