Inquiry Arts envisions communities in which the arts are integral to public life and discourse. We imagine people and communities drawing on the arts to navigate complex challenges and aspirations to thrive: The arts deepen understandings of the often-unheard stories underlying others’ perspectives, choices and what they hold most dear.

Through moving multimedia performance, arts-based residencies/facilitations and consultancy, Inquiry Arts creates spaces of listening for people to explore experiences and perspectives different from their own and the ways their stories intersect with those of others.

The Backstory
Inquiry Arts was founded to address the intensification and calcification of high conflict, typically marked by dangerous reductions of complex situations or choices into simplistic binaries, usually an “us” vs monolithic, dehumanized “them.”
